About the Reynolds College

The Judith Enyeart Reynolds College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities is on the rise thanks to a transformational gift rooted in love, service and a belief in the power of education.

 

 

Driven by this historic eight-figure gift and academic transformation, the Judith Enyeart Reynolds College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities offers nearly 60 undergraduate degree programs to 3,200-plus students across ten departments housed in five schools which include: School of the Arts (Art and Design; Theatre and Dance; Music) School of Communication (English; Communication, Media, Journalism and Film), School of Humanities (Political Science and Philosophy; History; Sociology, Anthropology, and Gerontology; Languages, Cultures, and Religions), School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, and School of Defense and Strategic Studies with Military Science.

Reynolds College faculty help students nurture literacy in the arts, social sciences, and humanities by stimulating self-reflection, building critical thinking skills, encouraging creativity, and helping students understand social, political, legal, religious, and ethical structures and principles within global, historical, and contemporary contexts.
